Comfort inside the van, for you and your employees, is paramount and this is why we take pride in providing not only a high quality and technologically advanced vehicle, but a safe, secure and comfortable one. This means versatile lighting, complete insulation and ventilation and various options for seating and layout.

Lighting

Fluorescent lighting is used as standard due to its low heat output and high efficiency levels, both important factors in this class of build. Some users may prefer to upgrade to halogen lighting, which brings not only the efficiency and practicality of fluorescence, but also further customisation opportunities and a more ‘natural light’. Lighting of the workspace area is also provided, as well as a backup system of integrated low level emergency lights to prevent accidents in case of power loss.

Climate Control

Working in a stuffy environment can be a nightmare. That’s why we provide air conditioning units as standard on our entire range of surveillance vans. Cooling is not just limited to when the vehicles engine is running - the unit is powered through the UPS electrical system, designed to run for 10-12 hours after deployment. Fully adjustable temperature controls ensure perfect moisture-free working conditions, whether it’s a blistering summer day or a dark winter’s night.

Furnishing

Comfortable seating solutions are available, ranging from bench seating to individual work stools. Your vehicle can be customised to hold one to five people in comfort even providing extras such as an integrated refrigerator and hot drinks facilities. Storage

With any operation quick access to important paperwork and files is a must and SI provides a number of versatile and unique solutions. Under slung storage is standard on all models as well as a secure lock box for valuable or sensitive items. You can also choose to have filing systems, shelving, racking or even drawers fitted to your vehicle all custom built to your exact specifications.
